
Mehaffey Community Park

The Architects’ Studio provided architectural and engineering design for multiple structures and facilities through out the 69 acre multi-use Mehaffey Community Park, including several flush restroom buildings and group shelters. Using a combination of custom site built and semi-custom pre-engineered products, the restrooms and shelters were developed with a consistent design that includes stone veneer, arched steel trusses and exposed wood decking.

The park is sited along the historic Overland Trail, a theme which is reflected in the architectural forms, materials, landscape and artwork placed through out the site. The complex includes a disc golf course, multipurpose fields, natural restored landscapes and drainages, tennis and basketball courts, skate park, dog park, an arboretum, fruit orchards, adventure play area, paved and soft surface trails and is a popular recreation destination for residents of Loveland and beyond.
